The
REMOTE learning programme offers you the opportunity to
gain recognition for your learning and hard work and ability
to develop accessible web sites.
If
you choose to register with the REMOTE learning programme,
you can have your work externally assessed. Successful
candidates will receive the 'Certificate in Removing Barriers
with Dreamweaver®'. This award is quality assured by
the UK based examination board NCFE and therefore formally
recognises your achievement. If you intend to continue
your development in this area or to offer web design services
professionally, this can be used to demonstrate your skills.
The assessment for the course is in two formats. The course
contains 5 modules. Within each module you will be directed
to 2 multiple choice quizzes at appropriate points through
your progress in the module. Each assessment quiz is 10 questions
based on the material you have learnt. The pass mark for
each quiz is high, however you have an unlimited number of
attempts, each time receiving feedback of you errors.
The quizzes are in Modules 1-4. Module 5 is itself the final
assessment. Module 5 directs you through the coursework assignment
which when completed is uploaded to a web server for viewing
and marking by your tutor. On passing the final coursework,
you will then be issued with your Removing Barriers with
Dreamweaver certificate.
